What is Memoair Technology

Clinical Testing

We test all our bed designs using objective pressure mapping, which shows in real-time the pressure distribution of a pet on the bed.

This has allowed us to develop our patent pending memoair technology, which uses the power of air gaps and multiple orthopaedic foam densities meshed together to give both support and pressure relieving comfort.

Using objective measures of pressure relief allow us to demonstrate how the orthopaedic foam design cushions joints and moves pressure away from high risk areas.

And by using pets in our research, we know that we’re getting it right for them.

We’re proud to say that we aren’t stopping there. We believe there is always more research to be done, and that’s why we’re working with veterinary organisations across the country to continue to develop a deeper understanding of the power of sleep for our older or arthritic pets.

We’re always open to collaborations for research into sleep for our companion animals, so please do drop us a line at info@vetrelieve.com if you would be interested in working with us.

1

Dog pressure mapped on the floor – this shows high pressure points over the thigh, side chest and shoulder.

2

Same dog pressure mapped on a non-orthopaedic dog bed – here we see reduced pressure across the thigh but still very high pressure across the chest wall and shoulder.

3

Pressure mapped on an OrthoLuxe bed, showing much reduced pressure spread evenly and safely across the body surface.

4

Pressure mapping for our tests and trials is done in our volunteer pets’ own homes so they feel safe, and with lots of cuddles and treats (Myrtle’s favourite is peanut butter…)
