Vet-designed kennel mattresses built for veterinary clinics, shelters and boarding facilities, engineered to deliver pressure relief in recumbent patients and firm, stable support for mobile patients.
Designed by Lauren, an experienced GP veterinary surgeon, who diversified into human healthcare. Seeing the impact of sleep quality and pressure relief in human medicine, she aimed to bring this technology and understanding into the veterinary space.
VetRelieve was founded to bring evidence-based pressure care and sleep science from human healthcare into veterinary environments. Our products are designed by vets and manufactured for the realities of clinical use. durability, hygiene and measurable patient benefit sit at the core of everything we make.
We’re constantly researching how we can help provide comfort for your patients. We believe there is always more research to be done, and that’s why we’re working with veterinary organisations across the country to continue to develop a deeper understanding of sleep and comfort.
VetRest Duo’s industry-leading dual-sided design gives a pressure-relieving recumbency side for resting or post-op patients and a firmer active side to support confident standing and mobilisation — suitable for both canine and feline patients expected to be recumbent for less than 24 hours.
Engineered for clinical environments, VetRest Duo features welded seams and an anti-microbial, anti-fungal healthcare fabric to support infection control, plus a built-in vent (non-vented option available) that allows the mattress to pressure-set to the patient’s weight and prevents trapped air.
Standard Dependency mattresses are designed for typical post-op and ward cases where patients are likely to be recumbent for less than 24 hours. Choose the High Dependency specification for patients who are likely to be recumbent more than 24 hours, at higher risk of pressure injury, or otherwise more vulnerable.
VetRest Duo’s dual-sided design provides a recovery (recumbency) side with pressure-relieving properties for resting patients and an active side with denser foam and firmer fabric to give stability underfoot for mobile patients and physiotherapy. This lets you use one mattress throughout different stages of recovery, reducing inventory and simplifying ward logistics.
Yes. VetRest Duo is manufactured for use in canine and feline wards and for wall kennels; smaller sizes are appropriate for feline and small canine patients while larger sizes fit walk-in kennels.
Each mattress includes an NFC tag that contains cleaning & care instructions (so you can always check the manufacturer’s recommended procedure at the ward). For clinic protocols, follow the cleaning steps stored on the NFC tag and your local infection-control policy.
